As a brief introduction, here's a little about me. l am a mum of four and a wife to Neil. We have a happy home, and now l am running my own business, it's a busy one too.

l studied photography back when it was film, and have qualifications in fine art, graphics and photography. About 9 years ago, l picked a camera back up again, having taken a break to have my family, and l have been obsessed ever since. The digital age has meant learning so many new skills and l feel l learn new things every day.....in fact, its the prospect of learning something new that gets me excited.

My passion lays with photographing children. Being a mum myself has been of great benefit in understanding babies, and their mums...it takes a mum to understand how a woman really feels about her child, and to know what a privilege it is be entrusted with her baby for a newborn session.

l do see it as a huge honour that mum trusts me enough to allow me to pose her new baby during a session, and l never lose sight of that as l work.   The most fun l have is chasing a toddler around the park to get simply the most beautifully natural shots mum and dad could wish for.

Having been trained as a sleep practitioner, and with a history working for Scope helping parents of children with additional needs, you can be sure l will treat your child with care and do my very best to ensure you get the very best images l can provide.

By the time my camera comes out, l aim for your child to be relaxed and therefore, natural. No one likes false smiles....and sometimes no smiles is perfect too.

When it comes to newborns, l am now considered to be one of the UK's premier photographers in this field. l am passionate about capturing images of babies at this age, and also about keeping them as safe as they can be during the session. That is why l joined forces with some other top UK newborn photographers to create the British Association of newborn Photographers. We feel this is the very best way to ensure the industry keeps precious newborns as safe as possible.

l am also a member of  the Society of Wedding and Portrait Photographers., and the amazing Butterfly Wshes Network.
